Where is our voice data stored and processed?
Data should be stored on encrypted, regionally appropriate servers (U.S.-based for HIPAA, EU-based or with SCCs for GDPR). Always confirm whether processing happens on-device, in your cloud tenant, or on shared vendor infrastructure.
Who can access our call transcripts?
Only authorized personnel with role-based access controls. Vendors should not have access to your data for "product improvement" without explicit consent.
What encryption standards are used?
End-to-end encryption is required for all three major frameworks both in transit and at rest.
What happens in the event of a data breach?
Vendors must notify you within 72 hours to comply with GDPR and HIPAA requirements. Always confirm the vendor's breach notification policy before signing.
